Section I.4 : ED4 : Envy Mutant : Envy Mutant It's boring, but effective.įor reference, I had L196K MC, ~2500% ATK Gluttony, and Scarlet Dragon/Silver Scale Dragon/Brutal Right Arm/Obedient Berserker/Lesser Wyvern/Ogre/Troll as stat-padding party members. By farming this, you can get at least 30 Gluttony levels per hour (assuming DR resets), which equals +150% ATK per hour (with another +50% from Pork levels, assuming you're also farming Orc) and makes it relatively easy to hit, say, 2500% ATK Gluttony over the course of a few days with minimal oversight.

The reason for delaying leaving the village is that Farmwork, which is only available before leaving the village, gives free Anchovy Sandwiches, which is the best +ATK food you can farm without manual input or Sloth (at +4%). Once you can reach 8B ATK on MC with an optimal party configuration, you can leave the Village. Be sure to have unlocked the Hermit to get the maximum level boost for MC.

I recommend malingering in the starting Village for a few real-life days to farm Gluttony through Anchovy Sandwiches and Pork, using Dark Ritual as frequently as possible to maximize Gluttony's stat boost. The true stat-check boss of this route is actually Iari (Tournament - Round 6 | 15.3B HP/1.92B Atk-Def-MAtk-MDef), who requires about 8B Atk on MC to defeat with Sharp Spike or Power Stab under Physical Formation before she defeats you. Just make sure you have the two dragons, they actually add more stats than the 40% stat booster ally (especially the Silver Scale Dragon).

Overall I had around 200 million MAtk, but the goal is to be able to instant kill any of the summons. I went with cheap fast magic attacks like Spirit Roar (requires having done a Tamer run) and the Warlock title (requires having done a Sorcerer run), but physical attacks should work fine too. As to what attack you use, anything will work. These are all farmable from area 1 and 2 of the Desert Lodgings, both of which are significantly easier to farm than beating Demon's Castle. In my case, it was Beauty Camel, Lesser Wyvern, Sandworm, and Charity Larva. My strategy was to have a maxed Scarlet Dragon/Silver Scale Dragon in the reserve + all the stat boosters and strongest monsters I could bring. This boss has around 2.6 billion health, and cycles through summons in descending order by zone from Ancient Ruins back to Village before going on the attack full-time (at which point he will likely wipe your party in short order). Not sure if Supernova will trigger eventually anyway, but still. Tested on Warrior Class and my first run with not yet all Status up-Options in the Astral World taken. Note: My MC is not yet fully leveled with seeds since I just completed Dragon's Nest, about 600 increase in all 3 categories and Gluttony is about Level 120 for Salt and Pork both, so pretty easy. The Demon King will repeatedly use his Summon to copy your party but, since he can't copy you or Norn, he'll just be wasting his turns while you make him regret being born. No need to do anything, just take all team members out (except Norn) and use (Power) Stab with the MC and use Physical Formation to make things happen fast.
